About the Academy
What's included in Academy access?
All 10 certificate courses covering the complete project cycle—MEAL, Theory of Change, Project Management, Proposal Writing, Results-Based Management, Risk Management, Report Writing, Stakeholder Management, Focus Groups, and Advocacy. Plus our growing library of monthly 90-minute expert webinars tackling implementation challenges. All future webinars and replays included, along with any future courses added to the curriculum.
How long are the courses and how do they work?
Each course takes 15-30 hours to complete, depending on your pace. You'll watch structured video lessons, complete reflection exercises, pass progress tests. Within each course, lessons must be completed sequentially. This isn't passive watching—it's hands-on professional development, where you apply what you learn through practical assignments—like drafting your own proposal, creating a MEAL plan, or designing a Theory of Change.
Can courses be taken in any order? Are there deadlines?
Take courses according to your needs—you decide what to learn when. The Academy User Guide will also help you match your needs to courses. There are no deadlines—work at your own pace and complete courses when it fits your schedule.
Do participants receive certificates?
You receive a PDF certificate for each course you complete when your progress in that course is 100% (i.e. all modules and progress tests completed). Videos cannot be skipped and a score of at least 70% on tests is required (retakes are allowed). This ensures higher engagement and that certificates reflect genuine skill development.
How quickly can I access the materials after payment?
Access to all courses is immediate. As soon as your payment is processed, you will have access to all academy materials. For team subscriptions, we'll enroll your participants within 1 business day of receiving their information.

How do we get set up with a team subscription?
Contact us via WhatsApp or email to discuss your team's needs. We can answer questions, arrange trial access for you to explore the library, and help you find the right fit. Once you're ready, we'll send a payment link or bank details for your subscription. Send us your list of participants and we'll have everyone enrolled within 1 business day.
What's the ROI for our organization?
One improved proposal, avoided project delay, or strengthened donor relationship covers the annual investment. Training one staff member costs $250/year—less than sending them to a single in-person workshop. Your staff apply these skills directly to active projects while building your organization's long-term capacity. As a team, you also share concepts and a common language, making collaboration easier.
How do team subscriptions work?
Once enrolled, each team member gets their own account, tracks their own progress, and earns their own certificates. We will also send you a Manager's Guide with practical strategies for team learning so you can roll out learning within your team in a way that ensures accountability and impact.
Can our organization pay by invoice or bank transfer?

Can managers track team progress?
Each team member has their own progress dashboard showing course progress. Team members can share their progress directly with supervisors when needed.
We're a small team with a tight budget—can we share one account?
Each person needs their own account to earn certificates, track progress, and work at their own pace.
How do we enroll a large team?
For international organisations and teams larger than 50 staff, contact us about volume pricing.
What if someone leaves our organisation?
Sometimes unanticipated staff changes happen. In most cases, we can transfer the seat to a new team member.
What's the minimum commitment for teams?
Quarterly (3 months) is the minimum for teams. Annual subscriptions save two months.
For Individual Practitioners
Do solo practitioners get the same content as organizational teams?
Yes. Individuals get everything that teams get. You can access the same courses, webinars, and certificates as teams.
Can I subscribe for just one month?
Yes. If you cancel before your next billing date, you'll have access through the end of your paid period. However, unused periods are not refundable.
What if I don't want to subscribe but need just one course?
You can purchase individual courses for lifetime access at $150 per course. This means you can access those materials whenever you need to. Use the links to the course pages to purchase.

Will pricing increase over time?
The price you pay now when you subscribe is locked in for as long as your subscription remains active. Even if we raise prices in the future, your rate stays the same.
Can I pay another way besides credit card?
For annual subscriptions, we can accept bank transfer and PayPal. Contact us to arrange payment.
