About ELD Impact

"The course is a game-changer. I am already applying the things I have learned and I have started seeing the difference."

- M.M., Operational Information Management and Reporting Officer, World Food Program Somalia

In Nepal, a chautari is a tree-shaded platform where communities gather to share knowledge and insights. On a chautari, I saw displaced families and planners combine their skills to rebuild after a natural disaster, transforming their community. Inspired by this, we envisioned a platform to share what truly works—aligning stakeholders’ aspirations with projects that deliver results.

Founded in 2000 as ELD Training, we renamed to ELD Impact in 2025 to reflect this global mission. Our workshops spanned 20 countries, training professionals from boardrooms to remote NGOs, now transitioned to our online academy. As technology evolved, we grew, engaging thousands in 100 countries, serving resilient communities and fostering a global chautari.

At ELD Impact, everything is about results—providing positive, practical benefits for our learners and, consequently, better outcomes for the communities they support. Our mission is to empower humanitarian, relief, and development practitioners with practical skills through actionable training. Whether you’re designing a Theory of Change or acting on community input to drive project impact, ELD Impact equips professionals to deliver results for communities and donors. From mastering M&E to turning in monitoring reports that steer projects toward results, we empower teams to transform lives—supporting displaced people, improving maternal health, or educating girls.

Join us to amplify your impact as a humanitarian professional.

"Thank you for this training. Whilst "unlearning" a few old habits, I learned a lot of new skills. I will put these into action in the coming weeks."

- M.B., Project Expert with Population Services International, Ethiopia

OUR APPROACH

Our approach is flexible to meet diverse needs.

  • We provide scheduled online training through a hybrid of Zoom meetings and self-study.
  • For those unable to join scheduled sessions, our 100% self-study courses offer convenience and adaptability.
  • We also offer team training on your schedule and one-to-one coaching for busy project leaders.

Whether online or in-person, our training is designed to be clear, straightforward, and immediately applicable. We use real, diverse examples, frequent reflection, and practical tasks and exercises to ensure significant impact. Personal follow-up ensures that participants receive the support they need throughout their learning journey.

We also understand that different organizations have different financial capabilities, especially in the relief and humanitarian sector. To ensure our training is accessible to all, we offer a two-tiered pricing system based on an honesty basis. We trust you to select the pricing tier that best reflects your organization's budget. This approach allows us to support those who need it most while maintaining our commitment to quality and sustainability.

"I wish all development practitioners would have an opportunity to undergo this training. After this training, I can never be the same. I am empowered with the necessary tools to write professionally."

- T.M., Program Manager, Techno Serve, Zimbabwe

Meet Neil Kendrick

Leading ELD Impact with over 25 years of experience, Neil Kendrick from the UK specializes in Project Planning (LFA/TOC), Professional Writing, Reporting Skills, Proposal Writing, Results-Based Management, and Monitoring & Evaluation. He has trained professionals from hundreds of organizations in over 20 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

"As a result of the training, RBM is now our in-house tool for project evaluation and appraisal, and we mainstream RBM in all our 37 project offices across Nigeria. Neil opened my eyes to critical issues of linking activities to results and impacts, and his ability to deconstruct and demystify M&E made the training a life-changing experience."

- Dr Steve Ogidan, National Coordinating Consultant. Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk-Sharing System for Agricultural Lending

“Neil is a wonderful trainer who lets the participants have in-depth knowledge of the course. And the way the course has been designed and is conducted really helps to grasp a good knowledge on the subject matter.”

- Kanchan Ojha, Monitoring and Evaluation Associate, World Wide Fund For Nature, Nepal
